SERVINGS: 3 PREPPING TIME: 5 min ADDITIONAL TIME: 3-8 hrs | INGREDIENTS: 1 cup old fashioned oats 1 cup yogurt 3 tbsp hemp hearts 3 tsp chia seeds 1 tbsp matcha powder 1/4 cup strawberries 1/4 cup raspberries honey toasted coconut macadamia nuts |
DIRECTIONS
To portion overnight oats, grab three mason jars or containers of your choice. Alternatively use a bowl to make one batch.
In a mason jar, combine 1/3 cup of oats, 1/3 cup of yogurt, 1 tbsp hemp hearts, 1 tsp of chia and 1/3 tbsp of matcha. Add a splash of honey and about 1/4 cup of cold water. Mix well and cover. Repeat for the remaining jars.
Refrigerate overnight or at least 3 hours.
When ready to eat, remove from the fridge and top with sliced strawberries, raspberries, toasted coconut, and macadamia nuts. Sprinkle with hemp hearts and drizzle with some honey. Enjoy!
NOTES:
Make sure to use old fashioned rolled oats for the best texture. Quick oats will become quite mushy when soaked overnight.
Feel free to swap the topping for nuts of your choice, add bananas and other fruit, or nut butters. Overnight oats are great to make ahead in batches. They keep well in the fridge for up to four days and are fantastic on the go meal!
